The award-winning L’Amico restaurant in Chelsea’s Eventi Hotel is inspired by a wood-fired meal and the simplicity of a stroll through the country side. Influenced by industrial details, Crème (founded by Jun Aizaki) has created this breathtaking paradise for rustic design lovers like us! The space mostly uses the warmth of reclaimed wood and copper and a wall pattern-derived from barn door geometry- is echoed in the graphic concrete flooring. Since we love love love details, the chairs that feels both contemporary and traditional at once (and is actually developed by Crème) deserve a huge shout out!
This Restaurant brings out the best in both of our obsessions- the love for design + the love for good food! While you can comfortably sit amazed by design, chef Laurent Tourondel will take you for a trip to Italy; The only place where wood-oven pizzas and the pastas can never disappoint you. The kitchen, visible throughout the dining room-as well as to those passing by on Sixth Avenue- brings to life the diverse menu that includes Tourondel’s take on American favorites such as pizza, fired in twin copper-clad, wood-burning ovens, freshly extruded pastas, and selections of charcuterie.
L’Amico Restaurant feels like an italian home to us —–> warm, packed, loud, and smells of pizza and vino rosso! Squisito…
